What CurbKicks is

CurbKicks is a free map where neighbours share items they are giving away. We only host the listings. We don’t own, inspect or guarantee any item, and we aren’t a party to anything between the person giving an item away and the person collecting it.

Posting

• Only list items that are free, safe, legal, and that you are allowed to give away from the place you pin.
• Items must be left outside or in a public-facing spot. Never invite people into a home.
• No selling, links, ads, weapons, drugs, animals, recalled or hazardous goods, or anything unsafe for the next owner.
• Post only photos you took or have the right to use, and don’t include people or private information.
• By posting you let CurbKicks display your photo and text on the site for as long as the listing is live.

Picking things up

You collect items at your own risk. Be respectful of the property and neighbours, never enter private property to collect something, take a friend for large items, and use your own judgement about whether an item is safe to take or use.

Moderation

Listings are reviewed and may be edited, removed or refused at any time, for any reason, including to keep the site safe. Use the Report button if something looks wrong.

No warranty and limits of liability

CurbKicks is provided “as is”, without promises that it will always be available, accurate or error-free. Item locations, descriptions and photos come from other people. To the extent the law allows, CurbKicks and its operators are not responsible for any loss, injury or damage connected with the site or with items found through it.
